Mid Valley Outing

I went to watch New Moon at Mid Valley with Crystal, Jinny, Alice & her sis, Shanker, Pryce, Alex, Dennis and Mohammed the day after prom. We met up and had lunch at Chillis. I had no idea what to eat so I shared nachos with Shanker (:

The service there wasn't up to par. Prolly because they think we're just a bunch of kids so it doesn't matter. Pfft.

Well, after the costly but not so satisfying lunch, we went for bowling!

It's pretty cool that the bowling alley in MV has the bumper thing, which prevents your ball to roll into the gutter. Somewhat like cheating, but not :D

It was because of the bumpers Crystal won. Pfft x)

Went for New Moon after bowling. I've only got 2 words for it.

It . Sucked .

Omg, it was bloody tedious. I spent half the movie chanting the word "End". Wtf, all the things Bella would do just to see Edward.
I almost died watching. Even Taylor Lautner's supposed "God-like" body was nowhere near to saving me. Meh, stupid movie made me late for Charles' house warming.

After the movie finally ended, we took a quick picture before I left for Charles' house warming.
The others stayed for dinner.

Charles' House Warming

Man, it was been eons since I've seen Charles. It was good to see him again (:

I don't know if he would allow it, so I won't disclose his current location.
Though it's pretty deserted where he lives now, his house is pretty impressive.

I spent most of the time there talking & laughing. Sam and Charles together cracks me up.
Oh, and a little surprise right before I left.

I didn't plan to go to prom this year, but apparently they needed a photographer, so yeah.
I was going to wear something pretty casual, but my parents said I should dress up despite the fact that I'm going just as a photographer. You know, because it's prom and all :/
But of course, I had no make up on, nor did I bother to wear contacts or anything. Heck, I got ready in an hour, I think. While some other girls I know took a day off from school to go dress shopping. Pfft ._.

Oh, apart from the food and my decision to not be on the dance floor, prom was pretty good (:

Yes, I've reverted back to my default template. I can't seem to find a decent blogskin, or maybe I'm just too lazy ;P

Anyways, sorry for the lack of updates! D: But don't worry, I'm going to start updating again, since I'm pretty much giving up on tumblr :/ I just don't like the whole idea of tumblrarity and stuff.

Okay, let's start off with the Mind, Body, Soul Project.

The media students, a.k.a YJC Photographers and C-News video editors, were given this project by En. Raphael. For the photographers, we have to take a maximum of 12 pictures that tells a story about mind, body and soul.

I've been going on the field for a number of time during the last week of school to shoot the Year 10 boys playing football. The weather was super hot, but they were really cooperative, so thank you guys! :D Especially John, who helped a lot ((:
Some of the guys even used the pictures as their new facebook profile picture ;P haha. Just felt like putting that out.


After the "Body" shoot, Kana and I did the shoot for "Soul", and Ethan was our model :)
We stayed back until 5 and we had to rush, as there were only the 2 of us to photograph. So yes, I'm kinduh disappointed with my photographers. Grr.

But anyways, I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped (: Namely Johnathan Lau, Boom Yeong Jia, Brent & Brian Chan, rest of the Year 10 footballers, Ethan Kok, Samuel Aw and Kanako Uchimura.

Now all that's left is the photoshopping etc etc ;P

I'd usually go TGIF but today sucked more than usual. Pfft, Friday the 13th? I still don't fucking believe in it.

Well at least the weekends are here. Need a break from exams.

"Winging it" isn't doing me any good. Grr, so mad at myself now.
I'm determined to study for Add. Maths and Biology over the weekends. Hopefully.

But for now, I'm going to get some shut eye.


p/s: Yes, I know my blog skin is currently retarded. I'll fix it soon, I'm just too tired now.

HELLO :B

I was going to update about RAG Day & IU Day, but that was eons ago now wasn't it?

Gahh, exams start tomorrow (technically, today since it's past midnight), and here I am blogging.
I can barely remember 5 quotes for Literature, so how do flippin' expect me to remember 30?! It's not even in a language I understand! Yes, I consider ancient/Shakespeare English as a totally different language. And there's actually going to be 2 freaking Literature papers T_T

So instead of cramming, I will be posting pictures of things I want ;p

So last Sunday (18th October) I went to Pavillion for Cherise's birthday outing :D I was late though, because of transportation problems :/
People present were C.A.M.P.Y, Melanie, Crystal and Marise.
I reached there in time of the movie; Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball. In 3D! It was awesome (:
& the fact that there's a character named Baby/Chicken Brent makes it 10x funnier x)


After the movie we went to Times to lepak around, I guess x)

Though I wasn't there for long, I had a blast - catching up and all (:

On the 24th, Crystal had her birthday outing in Time Square (: ! The people who went were Cherise, Anne, Alice, Xin Qi, Jinny & me.

Cherise, Crystal, Alice and I had hoodies so we were the supposed KKK. Though Crystal was mixed xD

We went for the rides & it was awesome, though a tad nauseating. Mainly because most of the rides included us going round and round and round, in quick speed.
We ate in the theme park and then went for the Haunted House thing ;p It was pretty funny, actually. Anne and I went in front, thinking we can "protect" the people behind us. But as luck would have it, it was the people at the back that got the most fright ;p


After the haunted house, we went for “purikura” but it wasn’t any good. So we went to shop for a while. Yes, I went and shopped with them, & actually bought something! :O 2 shutter shades and a shirt, to be exact ;P

We went then went for a small dinner. Sam is still obsessed with “ZOMFG this is so fattening” thing. Pfft, and he’s supposed to be a guy ;p

Later Sam, Alice and I had to leave for Maneesha’s open house.
I'm going to sum it up to Maneesha's house is MASSIVE!
& the highlight of the night was the game "truth or dare" ;)

Hello people.

Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet has been wonky and would only work after midnight. And even then it's not totally stable! Grr. D:

Cherise's birthday outing post, which I find very hard to blog about because of this crap excuse of the internet, will be up soon!

Ugh, I've been feeling pretty down lately.
There's this merger thing going on which I'm against, stupid decisions made idiots who thinks the world revolves around them, a certain "unsexy time" today which I found pretty unnecessary, and that exams are in 3 weeks time.

Oh, and the fact that people has been referring to me as Melanie isn't helping either. It sucks when the "good jobs" and "keep up the good works" was directed to me but the name used was Melanie. I'm sorry, but I find myself very different from Melanie. Sheesh.

There's still a list of why I'm so ticked off lately, but I'll spare my readers.
Plus I have to press the "Publish Post" button before the internet dies again.

CIS Commencements ’09

I still remember my first commencements (: Had YJC duty with Brian and Nick, back when I was still a greenie ;P That time, we were told to have the guests pose for the pictures, which meant going up to them and asking them :O I remember Nick and I hesitated, but in the end I managed to get the pictures :D

Now back to this year’s one. I was the photographer yet again, but this time in black ;P
Before commencements started, there was this little photo session for the CILC girls.

CILC is soooo Harimau-themed :D

When commencements started, there was a performance by Claudillea and her teacher.

Followed by dinner, then procession :B

After that was prize-giving. Pictures can be found in my facebook.
Oh, but there’s one person’s citation I want to post. & that’s Kanako Uchimura :D
The Uchimura sisters acknowledged me in the citation :D Totally made my day (or night)! Hehe. I LOVE YOU GUYS :D

After prize-giving, Datin officially gave her seat as chairman to Dr. Rizal.

Congrats Dr Rizal! :D

And commencements came to an end with some performances;

After commencements, we shot for C-News. Melanie was the anchor, so you can guess what happened. If you can't, take a look;

After many trial&errors to get the most decent shot Melanie can possibly produce, Jun Bo, Win Lock and I went up to the broadcast room to put the cameras and tapes back. It was dark, and Jun Bo was being suck a baby! x3
After locking the room, Bo and Lock tried to scare me, but it backfired and Bo managed to scare himself. Priceless moment! :D
We walked up to the bus terminal and was still not picked up, so we went to the guard house. On our way, my mum came. Win Lock held it against me that I didn't teman them to guard house D:

On the plus side, I had McD's at home :D
